Z Johnson is a 20+ year insights expert who has spent time in insights tech companies helping customers learn tools, buy tools, integrate tools, and helping the tech companies themselves grow and retain customer accounts. She also spent time as a brand-side market research director at Microsoft, both in operations and directly leading business-to-business research; and she worked as a research partner at Course5 and Ipsos, supporting Microsoft's market research projects.
A published author and conference speaker, Z's known for her insightful views on the industry based on having seen it from many angles. She serves as the lead of the Learning and Research team for the Insights Career Network, while also co-chairing QRCA's QualTech special interest group and Pacific Northwest chapter. When not getting involved in insights, Z knits, watercolors, plays piano, and plays one of the hundreds of boardgames her family owns.
